Abstract
"PROCESSO E INSTALAçãO PARA BENEFICIAMENTO DE UM CONCENTRADO DE COBRE ADEQUADO PARA REDUçãO E CONCENTRADO BENEFICIADO". De acordo com a invenção proporciona-se um processo para beneficiamento de um concentrado de cobre adequado para redução, o concentrado incluindo material de ganga que contém qualquer um ou mais de ferro, urânio, alumínio, silício ou compostos dos mesmos, o concentrado também incluindo pelo menos um de calcopirita e bornita, o processo incluindo os estágios de: a) lixiviar pelo menos uma parte do material de ganga a partir do concentrado utilizando uma solução ácida; e b) fazer reagir a calcopirita ou bornita no concentrado com cobre iónico em uma reação de metátese que substitui cobre com ferro na calcopirita ou bornit a e forma minerais de sulfureto de cobre.
