Abstract
"COMPOSTOS, PROCESSO PARA A SUA MANUFATURA, COMPOSIçõES FARMACêUTICAS QUE OS COMPREENDEM, MéTODO PARA O TRATAMENTO E/OU PREVENçãO DE ENFERMIDADES QUE SãO MODULADAS POR AGONISTAS DE PPAR<sym> E/OU PPAR<244> E SUA UTILIZAçãO". Refere-se a presente invenção aos compostos da fórmula (I); em que X, Y, R¬ 1¬ até R¬ 11¬ e n são tais como definidos na descrição, e todos os enantiómeros, e os seus sais e/ou ésteres farmaceuticamente aceitáveis. A invenção refere-se ainda às composições farmaceuticamente aceitáveis que contêm esses compostos, a um processo para a sua preparação e ao seu uso para o tratamento e/ou prevenção de enfermidades que são moduladas por agonistas de PPAR<sym> e/ou PPAR<244>. Exemplos dessas enfermidades são diabetes, particularmente diabetes mellitus não dependentes de insulina, níveis de lipídeos e de colesterol aumentados, particularmente colesterol de baixo HDL; colesterol de alto LDL, ou altos níveis de triglicérides, enfermidades ateroscleróticas, síndrome metabólica (síndrome X), pressão sanguínea elevada, disfunção endotelial, estado procoagulante, dislipidemia, síndrome ovariana policística, enfermidades inflamatórias tais como artrite reumatóide, osteoartrite, psoríase e outras disfunções da pele e enfermidades proliferantes.
