Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE ALIMENTO PARA ANIMAIS DE ESTIMAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um alimento para animais de estimação compreendendo ácido L- ascórbico trissódico-2-monofosfato (STAY-C50) ou ácido L-ascórbico de sódio-cálcio-2-monofosfato (STAY-35), ou misturas dos mesmos e, opcionalmente, um polímero (para fixação do ascorbato sobre a superfície dental) e aplicação dos mesmos como aditivo para alimento para animais de estimação para prevenir ou tratar cálculo, placa, gengivite e doença periodontal e para reforçar a capacidade antioxidativa no organismo sadio.
