Abstract
"REPETIDORA COM DIVERSIDADE DE PERCURSO SINTéTTCA". Trata-se de uma repetidora de comunicação para ser utilizado em conjunto com um subsistema transceptor base (BTS) de um sistema de comunicação em fio. A repetidora expande a área de cobertura do BTS e permite que os receptores identifiquem se a fonte de um sinal de comunicação era diretamente de um BTS ou foi transmitido por uma repetidora. A identificação da fonte do sinal facilita a determinação da posição, sobretudo em sistemas de determinação de posição híbridos. A repetidora implementa a modulação de retardo diferencial do sinal transmitido. A repetidora retransmite o sinal original do BTS assim como uma versão retardada no tempo do sinal. Além disto, a repetidora introduz diversidade de percurso sintética sob a forma de diversidade espacial ou diversidade polaridade de modo a descorrelacionar o sinal original retransmitido do sinal retardado no tempo. A repetidora pode transmitir o sinal retardado com a mesma potência do sinal original retransmitido ou pode atenuar o sinal retardado com relação ao sinal original retransmitido.
