Abstract

"BLOCO FILTRANTE PARA A FILTRAçãO DE PARTìCULAS CONTIDAS NOS GASES DE ESCAPAMENTO DE UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA E CORPO FILTRANTE DESTINADO A UM FILTRO DE PARTìCULAS". Corpo filtrante para a filtração de partículas contidas nos gases de escapamento de um motor de combustão interna, compreendendo conjuntos imbricados de canais de entrada (10, 11) e de canais de saída (12, 13) adjacentes. Os canais de entrada (10, 11) e de saída (12, 13) estando em comunicação de fluido por suas paredes laterais, as paredes laterais apresentando, em corte transversal, uma ondulação determinada de modo a acrescentar o volume global dos canais de entrada (10, 11) na dependência daquele dos canais de saída (12, 13), e o volume global (Ve) dos canais de entrada (10, 11) sendo superior àquele (Vs) dos canais de saída (12, 13).
