Abstract
"LIBERAçãO CONTROLADA DE CAFEìNA A PARTIR DE BEBIDAS DE CAFé ALTAMENTE CAFEINADAS FEITAS A PARTIR DE UM Pó SOLúVEL". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de liberação de cafeína controlado em um sachê de porção única feito de um material rompível, caracterizado pelo fato de o sachê prover um pó de bebida de café solúvel altamente cafeinado. Este pó de bebida compreende (a) sólidos de café contendo cafeína convencionais e (b) sólidos contendo cafeína adicionais de uma outra fonte natural além de (a) em uma quantidade suficiente para se melhorar a palatabilidade, se uma bebida for preparada pela adição de água ao pó. Assim, uma bebida pode ser preparada, que contém pelo menos de 80 a não mais do que 115 mg de cafeína, de modo que o consumo de uma porção única da bebida por uma pessoa proveja um nível de cafeína no plasma na pessoa que esteja acima de 1,25 mg/l por pelo menos de 2 a 4 horas seguindo-se ao consumo da bebida.
