A presente invenção está direcionada a composições contendo ácido ascórbico ou um sal fisiologicamente aceitável do mesmo para a preparação de uma formulação útil para a prevenção de recorrências de infecções fúngicas ou de superinfecções fúngicas, em pacientes em risco.
