Abstract

"PRODUçãO CONTìNUA DE PRé-FORMAS DE RECIPIENTE". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de produção de pré-formas para a moldagem por sopro de recipientes que inclui a produção de um polímero de poliéster processado por meio de uma polimerização de fase de fusão e a moldagem por compressão de pré-formas do polímero de poliéster sem solidificar o polímero de poliéster antes da moldagem por compressão das pré-formas. Este processo tem a vantagem de eliminar as etapas intermediárias convencionais de solidificar o polímero na forma de grânulos, expedir os grânulos para o fabricante de pré-forma, e em seguida refundir o polímero. Além disso, uma vez que as pré-formas são produzidas diretamente do polímero de fase de fusão, o polímero poderá ter uma viscosidade intrínseca baixa de 0,65 ou menor, o que é particularmente útil para a moldagem por sopro de recipientes em aplicações de baixa temperatura e de baixa pressão.
