Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "MéTODO DE MOLDAGEM POR INSUFLAçãO, E MáQUINA PARA PRODUZIR RECIPIENTES PASTEURIZáVEIS". Um método para produzir um recipiente de plástico endurecido por calor, orientado biaxialmente, que inclui as etapas de prover uma pré-forma de plástico dentro de uma cavidade de molde; expandir e esticar a pré-forma de plástico para se conformar às superfícies que definem a cavidade de molde a fim de formar o recipiente de plástico orientado biaxialmente; induzir cristalinidade no recipiente de plástico com emprego de transferência de calor por convecção para aquecer uma superfície do recipiente de plástico até uma temperatura de pelo menos 120<198>C; e remover o recipiente de plástico da cavidade de molde. Os recipientes de PET produzidos pelo método apresentam uma cristalinidade de parede lateral média superior a cerca de 30%, o que permite que o recipiente de PET mantenha a sua integridade material durante qualquer processo de pasteurização ou retorta subseq³ente do conteúdo do recipiente de PET, e durante o transporte do recipiente de PET.
