Abstract

"ANEL DE SEGMENTO PARA êMBOLOS DE MOTORES DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA". A invenção refere-se a um anel de segmento para êmbolos de motores de combustão interna com uma lamela (1) consistindo em uma cinta de aço, provida de flancos paralelos, cuja superfície de rolamento (h) apresenta uma forma abauladamente assimétrica com uma linha de vértice (3) se estendendo pela periferia da lamela, sendo que uma mola de expansão (4) disposta em uma ranhura de mola (7) do êmbolo e apresentando um flanco de ranhura de mola (6) oposto ao lado do fundo do êmbolo e um flanco de ranhura de mola (5) voltado para o lado do fundo do êmbolo pressiona a lamela (1) radialmente contra a parede de cilindro (8). De acordo com a invenção, frente ao estado atual da técnica conhecido deve ser obtido um efeito de separação de óleo aperfeiçoado com reduzido atrito e um reduzido desgaste da superfície de rolamento, o que é alcançado pelo fato de que ao menos um dos flancos de ranhura de mola (5, 6) se estende inclinado a um ângulo para com o eixo de êmbolo (10) radialmente para fora até à extremidade da mola de expansão (4) apontando para o lado do cilindro, sendo que a superfície de rolamento (h) da lamela (1) é de tal maneira executada que corresponde a um contorno extremo de desgaste iminente no estado de ativação do motor, e sendo que no estado montado do anel de segmento (10) no êmbolo a linha de vértice (3) da superfície de rolamento (h) está disposta no sentido do flanco de ranhura anular (6) oposto ao lado do fundo do êmbolo.
