Abstract

"PROCESSO E INSTALAçãO FABRIL PARA O TRATAMENTO TéRMICO DE SóLIDOS CONTENDO TITáNIO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo e a uma instalação fabril para o tratamento térmico de sólidos contendo titânio. Para esse propósito, os sólidos de grãos finos são aquecidos até uma temperatura de 700 a 1000<198>C em um reator (4) com leito fluidizado circulante e são parcialmente descarregados do reator (4) juntamente com os gases residuais em um separador a jusante (9). No mesmo, os sólidos são separados dos gases residuais e são recirculados para o reator (4) pelo menos parcialmente e/ou fase a fase. A jusante do reator (4) e/ou o separador (9) é fornecido um resfriador de injeção (13), no qual os sólidos são resfriados até abaixo de 250<198>C injetando-se um meio de resfriamento. A jusante do resfriador de injeção (13) pode ser fornecido um resfriador de leito fluidizado (16) para posterior resfriamento dos sólidos.
