A invenção refere-se a um documento de valor, especialmente uma cédula bancária, tendo um substrato de documento de valor e pelo menos três substâncias características diferentes para verificar o documento de valor, que tem uma primeira substância característica em uma tinta de impressão em conjunto. A segunda substância característica é formada por uma substância luminescente e a terceira substância característica, por um material absorvente em uma faixa espectral especial.
