Abstract
"CéLULA DE BATERIA, ESTRUTURA DE CéLULA ELETROQUìMICA, E, MéTODO DE FABRICAçãO DE UMA ESTRUTURA DE CéLULA ELETROQUìMICA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma bateria de metal alcalino (ou outro metal ativo) e a outras células eletroquímicas incorporando anodos de metal ativo juntamente com os sistemas de catodo/eletrólito aquosos. As células de bateria têm uma membrana protetora altamente ionicamente condutora adjacente ao anodo de metal alcalino que efetivamente isola (desacopla) o eletrodo de metal alcalino do solvente, processamento de eletrólito e/ou ambientes de catodo, e ao mesmo tempo, evita o transporte de íons dentro e fora destes ambientes. O isolamento do anodo dos outros componentes de uma célula de bateria ou outra célula eletroquímica desta forma permite o uso de qualquer solvente, eletrólito e/ou material de catodo em conjunto com o anodo. Também, a otimização de eletrólitos ou sistemas de solvente do lado de catodo pode ser feita sem impactar a estabilidade ou desempenho do anodo. Em particular, células de Li/água, Li/ar e Li/hidreto de metal, componentes, configuração e técnicas de fabricação são fornecidas.
