Um aglomerado produtor de calor contém partículas de um componente ácido selecionado de anidridos ácidos, sais ácidos, e misturas dos mesmos, ou componente básico selecionado de bases, anidridos bases, sais bases, e misturas dos mesmos, ou uma mistura dos referidos componentes ácidos e bases. O aglomerado produtor de calor fornece a saída de calor alta na medida controlável de geração de calor, minimiza riscos ambientais e de segurança, e é útil como um componente produtor de calor em embalagem de aquecimento próprio.
