Abstract
"APARELHO DE NãO-FRAGMENTAçãO PARA ALìVIO DE PRESSãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho de não-fragmentação para alívio de pressão que inclui um disco de ruptura tendo uma seção central abaulada ou plana e uma porção de flange periférico. Certas concretizações da invenção têm um elemento em forma de borboleta tendo dois painéis em asas presos ao lado inferior do disco de ruptura do aparelho. Uma linha de enfraquecimento de comprimento principal se estende em torno da periferia da seção central de um disco e linhas de enfraquecimento de regiões extremas em forma de C nos painéis em asas, que definem uma porção de articulação do disco entre elas, primeiro convergem e, então, divergem uma da outra e se conectam com a linha de enfraquecimento principal. A aplicação de uma sobrepressão ao aparelho de disco de ruptura faz com que toda a linha de enfraquecimento se separe, incluindo as linhas de enfraquecimento de regiões extremas, pelo que a divergência da força de abertura na porção de articulação do disco impede separação da seção central do disco da porção periférica do disco. Em outra concretização, o elemento em forma de borboleta é omitido e as linhas de enfraquecimento de regiões extremas em forma de C são proporcionadas na seção central do disco.
