São providos adutos compreendendo MgCl~ 2~, etanol e uma base de Lewis (LB) diferente de água, ditos compostos estando presentes em razões molares definidas pela seguinte fórmula MgCI~ 2~<sym>(EtOH)~ n~(LB)~ p~, em que n é de 2 a 6 e p tem valores que satisfazem a seguinte equação: p/(n+p) <243> 0,1. Os ditos adutos podem ser usados como precursores na preparação de catalisadores ZN de alta atividade.
