Abstract

"ANODOS ESTáVEIS INCLUINDO óXIDO DE FERRO E USO DESSES ANODOS EM CéLULAS PARA PRODUçãO DE METAIS". A presente invenção refere-se a anodos estáveis (50) compreendendo óxido de ferro, úteis para a produção eletrolítica de metais, tal como aluminio (80), que são descritos. O óxido de ferro pode compreender Fe~ 3~O~ 4~, Fe~ 2~O~ 3~, FeO ou uma combinação dos mesmos. Durante o processo de produção eletrolítica de alumínio, os anodos (50) se mantêm estáveis, a uma temperatura do banho controlada da célula de produção de alumínio, e a densidade de corrente pelos anodos (50) é controlada.
