Abstract

"MéTODO DE COLETA E ELIMINAçãO DA ESCóRIA PRESENTE NO FERRO DERRETIDO E DISPOSITIVO PARA IMPLEMENTAçãO DE MéTODO DE COLETA E ELIMINAçãO DA ESCóRIA PRESENTE NO FERRO DERRETIDO". Prevê um método altamente eficiente de coleta e eliminação da escória do ferro derretido e um dispositivo de implementação do dito método; as duas pás da grelha de escorificação instalada na extremidade frontal da viga em cantiléver descem lado a lado até certa profundidade, abaixo da superfície do ferro derretido; as duas grelhas executam movimentos de vaivém respectivamente ao longo da superfície do ferro derretido; ao se aproximarem gradualmente uma da outra durante o movimento de vaivém, as grelhas se unem e recolhem a escória sólida; em seguida, as duas grelhas coletoras da escória são suspensas até certa altura acima da superfície, acionadas pela viga em cantiléver; e finalmente, as grelhas se afastam do espaço acima da caçamba e descartam a escória; o porcentual de coleta e eliminação da escória pode atingir mais de 90%; todo o processo de coleta e eliminação da escória leva menos de 3 minutos; conseqüentemente, pode-se reduzir consideravelmente a perda de ferro no processo de coleta e eliminação da escória, com o índice de perda sendo rigorosamente controlado na faixa de 0,1%.
