Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA MONITORAR UM VOLUME DE GáS EM UMA INSTALAçãO CHEIA DE LìQUIDO". A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo para monitorar um volume de gás em uma instalação cheia de líquido, sendo que a instalação possui uma linha de alimentação com pelo menos um tanque de expansão e sendo que o dispositivo possui um corpo flutuante boiando no líquido. O corpo flutuante é ligado a um eixo estacionário no tanque de expansão e é apoiado de modo girável em relação ao eixo. Por meio da medição do torque gerado pelo corpo flutuante ou do ângulo em relação à linha horizontal, o volume de gás que se encontra acima do líquido pode ser medido com rapidez e com um alto grau de precisão. Além disso, a presente invenção referese a um método para monitorar um volume de gás em uma instalação cheia de líquido por meio de um corpo flutuante boiando no líquido.
