Máquina para embalar produtos de pequenas dimensões dentro de sacos com fundo chato onde a máquina de empacotar compreende um par de tenazes (11, 12) de selagem a quente, equipadas com uma lâmina de corte (18), e que pode ser comandado para efetuar uma etapa no trecho D, substancial, na qual, iniciando em uma posição elevada e engastada, as tenazes (11,12) são trazidas transversalmente próximas, e engastadas, entre si, para executar linhas horizontais paralelas de selagem a quente das abas opostas de um envoltório (2) tubular, e comandado para descer verticalmente; as tenazes (11, 12) são então movidas verticalmente, enquanto permanecendo em uma posição de proximidade e mutuamente engastadas, por uma seção da etapa descendente de dito envoltório (2) tubular, para efetuar uma selagem transversal dupla, e um corte intermediário, do envoltório (2) tubular; no fim, as tenazes (11, 12) são levadas de volta à dita posição elevada e engastada; para possibilitar que sacos de fundo chato sejam produzidos, a máquina também compreende dois pares de lanças (37, 38), os quais, movendo-se um em direção ao outro em uma direção perpendicular a dito trecho descendente do envoltório (2) tubular e ao trecho em que mantém as tenazes (11, 12) de selagem a quente próximas uma com a outra em sincronismo com o movimento de ditas tenazes (11, 12) de selagem a quente, provocam a formação de bolsos laterais dentro de dito envoltório (2) imediatamente acima e abaixo de ditas linhas de selagem - fig. 3.
