Abstract
USO DE áLCOOIS GRAXOS COMO PLASTIFICANTES PARA MELHORAR AS PROPRIEDADES FìSICAS MECáNICAS E A PROCESSABILIDADE DE PHB E DE SEUS COPOLìMEROS. A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição polimérica plastificante que compreende (1) PHB com a condição de que o PHB e seus co-polímeros de PHB sejam produzidos por um processo de extração de biopolímero, caracterizado pelo fato de que o material celular concentrado, secado anteriormente ou não, é misturado a um solvente adequado, especificamente álcool superior, de preferência com uma cadeia com mais do que 3 átomos de carbono ou qualquer outro de seus acetatos, de preferência o álcool isoamílico, acetato de amila, acetato de isoamila ou o óleo fúsel como descrito pela Patente Brasileira PI 9302312-0 publicada em 30/04/2002 (ii) a) álcoois graxos de comprimento de cadeia de 6 a 30 átomos de carbono (C6-C30) com a condição de que os álcoois graxos podem ser saturados ou olefinicamente insaturados lineares ou ramificados e b) ésteres de glicerol de ácidos graxos com 6 até 24 átomos de carbono com a condição de que os ácidos graxos podem ser saturados ou olefinicamente insaturados lineares ou ramificados e (iii) aditivos opcionais com a condição de que os aditivos são compostos por sistema de estabilização térmica, constituídos de: antioxidante primário como impedido por Fenol; antioxidante secundário como fosfitos orgânicos, estabilizadores térmicos tal como lactona; sorbitol e benzoato de sódio como nucleantes e amido, madeira em pó, fibras de bagaço de cana, arroz e fibras de vagem de arroz e fibras de sisal como cargas.
