Abstract

MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA DETERMINAR UM áNGULO DE VIRAGEM DE UM PNEU INSTALADO EM UM VEìCULO E MéTODO PARA CONTROLAR UM VEìCULO TENDO PELO MENOS UM PNEU INSTALADO NO MESMO é revelado um método e um sistema para determinar um ângulo de viragem de um pneu instalado em um veículo durante o uso do mencionado veículo sobre uma superfície de rodagem. O método compreende as etapas de: determinar a aceleração lateral de uma porção da banda de rodagem separadamente espaçada do plano equatorial do mencionado pneu; determinar uma velocidade de rotação do mencionado pneu; e determinar o mencionado ângulo de viragem a partir da mencionada aceleração lateral e da mencionada velocidade radial, usando curvas características da amplitude de aceleração lateral versus valores predeterminados do ângulo de viragem pra pelo menos uma velocidade de rotação.
