Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA O PROCESSAMENTO DE áGUAS RESIDUAIS CONTENDO NITROCOMPOSTOS AROMáTICOS". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para o processamento de águas residuais alcalinas, que resultam da lavagem de nitrobenzeno bruto por meio de decomposição térmica sob pressão (TDZ). Essas águas residuais alcalinas contêm usualmente além de água ainda quantidades residuais de benzeno e nitrobenzeno bem como de nitrohidróxi aromáticos. Por exemplo, são mencionados os nitrohidróxi aromáticos a seguir, que também podem estar presentes sob forma de seus sais hidrossolúveis: mono-, di- e trinitrofenóis, mono-, di- e trinitrocresóis, mono-, di- e trinitroresorcinas, mono-, di e trixilenóis. Como formador de sal são apropriados todos os metais, que são capazes de formar sais hidrossolúveis com os nitrohidróxi aromáticos. São preferidos os metais alcalinos mencionados, por exemplo, lítio, sódio, potássio e rubídío. O processo básico de TDZ para tratamento de águas residuais contendo nitrocompostos aromáticos é descrito nas patentes a seguir. Na patente EP O 005 203 A2 é descrito um processo para o processamento de águas residuais contendo nitrohidróxi, sendo que as águas residuais são tratadas sob exclusão de ar e oxigênio a uma pressão de 50 - 250 bar e com uma temperatura de 150 - 500<198>C. Na patente EP O 503 387 A1 foi descrito um processo caracterizado pelo fato de que a água residual dita alcalina é processada por adição de ácido nítrico e subseq³ente tratamento em faixas de temperatura de 180 350<198>C e uma faixa de pressão de 40 - 250 bar. Ambos os processos apresentam, no entanto, consideráveis desvantagens. A patente EP O 005 203 A2 não descreve a eliminação de hidrocarbonetos orgânicos como benzeno ou nitrobenzeno, que precipitam em um processo de nitrificação adiabático correspondente ao estado da técnica. A purificação da água residual de acordo com o ensinamento da patente EP O 005 203 A2 é, pois, insuficiente ou o uso de lixívia-mãe na TDZ é muito
