A presente invenção refere-se a artigos que são revestidos aplicando-se uma composição de revestimento de um material tipo fenóxi de transição vítrea elevada tendo uma transição vítrea T~ g~ de pelo menos cerca de 75<198>C a pelo menos uma porção de uma superfície de um artigo, e formando um revestimento seco/curado do material tipo fenóxi de T~ g~ elevada, onde o revestimento tem o material tipo fenóxi de T~ g~ elevada e um PHAE; ou a superfície do artigo compreendendo um revestimento inclui um PHAE; ou o revestimento tem um material tipo fenóxi de T~ g~ elevada e um PHAE, e a superfície do artigo inclui uma camada de revestimento de um PHAE.
