Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO PARA USO NA PRODUçãO DE UMA ESPUMA DE POLIURETANO, MéTODO DE PRODUZIR UMA ESPUMA DE POLIURETANO, E COMPOSIçãO DE POLIURETANO". Composições catalisadoras para uso na formação de produtos de poliuretano incluem um catalisador de formação de gel, um catalisador de trimerização, e um acelerador de cura. O catalisador de formação de gel é uma amina terciária, mono(amino terciário)uréia, bis(amino terciário)uréia, ou uma combinação de qualquer desses. Qualquer catalisador de trimerização conhecido pode ser usado. O acelerador de cura pode ser um diol que possui pelo menos um grupo hidroxila primário, e possuindo de a partir de cinco 17 átomos na estrutura da cadeia escolhidos a partir de carbono, oxigênio, ou ambos entre os grupos hidroxila, contanto que pelo menos cinco dos átomos da estrutura da cadeia sejam carbono. De modo alternativo, o acelerador de cura pode ser um poliol que possui três ou mais grupos hidroxila, pelo menos dois dos quais são primários, e possuindo pesos moleculares entre 90 g/mol e 400 g/mol. A iniciação retardada da reação de formação do poliuretano e/ou o reduzido tempo de desmolde para produzir a parte do poliuretano pode ser obtida mediante utilização dessas composições catalisadoras.
