Abstract
"REMOçãO QUìMICA DE UMA COBERTURA DE UM óXIDO DE METAL DE UM ARTIGO EM UMA LIGA 'SUPERALLOY". Um método para a remoção de uma cobertura virgem de óxido de metal de uma superfície de um componente de um motor de turbina a gás feito em uma liga 'superalloy'. O componente apresentando a cobertura de óxido de metal aplicada é posto em contato com uma solução aquosa de remoção de cobertura, tipicamente contendo em peso cerca de 10 - 25% de um hidróxido alcalino, cerca de 1 - 8% de um alcanolamina e cerca de 0,5 - 5% de sal de gluconato a uma temperatura de cerca de 210<198> F (99<198> C), por um período de tempo suficiente para remover a cobertura de óxido do artigo em liga 'superalloy' com o uso de meios mecânicos suaves. A cobertura de óxido de metal pode compreender uma ou mais camadas de óxido de metal, tais como uma camada de óxido de crómio e uma camada de óxido de alumínio.
