Abstract

"CANAL DE DIAGNóSTICO DE CONDICõES OPERACIONAIS E DE TESTES DE SOLUçõES PARA OTIMIZAçãO DE PRECIPITADORES ELETROSTáTICOS". é um equipamento laboratorial que simula um Canal Típico de Precipitadores Eletrostáticos Industriais , caracterizado pelo fato de que suas placas coletoras são cobertas por placas condutoras verticais estreitas, denominadas segmentos, isoladas eletricamente entre si e também com relação às placas coletoras, de modo que as correntes iónicas chegando em cada um dos segmentos podem ser medidas individualmente. As correntes iónicas discretas obtidas desse modo podem ser associadas à quantidade de material coletado em cada região segmentada, uma vez que as cargas iónicas que formam as correntes iónicas viajam na superfície do material, de modo que quanto maior a corrente iónica maior o volume de material coletado. Quanto maior o volume de um material localmente coletado maior a probabilidade de que exatamente nesse ponto ocorra um faiscamento sendo que informações sobre esse fenómeno são críticas para a operação otimizada de Precipitadores Eletrostáticos.
