Abstract

"PNEUMáTICO POSSUINDO BANDA DE RODAGEM DE BORRACHA COM BAIXA EMISSãO DE áLCOOL VOLáTIL COM LIMITAçõES DE COMPOSIçãO". A invenção se refere a um pneumático possuindo uma banda de rodagem de uma composição de borracha com limitações de composição contendo um valor mínimo, se algum, de um subproduto de álcool volátil formado no lugar. A composição de borracha do componente de banda de rodagem contém uma combinação ou reforço de sílica pré-hidrofobada e elastómero de copolímero de estireno/butadieno funcionalizado com siloxano. A sílica pré-hidrofobada é preparada, antes da mistura com o(s) elastómero(s), por reação dos grupos hidroxila (por exemplo, grupos silanol) contidos na superfície de uma sílica precipitada com um alcoxiorganomercaptossilano ou com um bis-3-(trietoxissililpropil)polissulfeto que contém uma média de 2 a 4 átomos de conexão de enxofre em sua ponte polissulfídica, para formar um composto do mesmo que pode incluir um alquil silano. O subproduto de álcool volátil (por exemplo, etanol) a partir do mesmo é dessa forma removido do composto de sílica pré-hidrofobada antes de sua introdução na(s) composição(ões) de borracha.
