Abstract
"SISTEMAS E MéTODOS PARA ACIONAR UM ELEMENTO DE DISPLAY BIESTáVEL". Devido à natureza biestável dos elementos moduladores interferométricos, o estado de cada elemento modulador pode ser mantido em estado estimulado ou liberado com uma diferença de tensão comum. Como os elementos moduladores freqüentemente exigem menos tempo para alterar estados do que é atribuído em um tempo linear, a potência drenada por uma matriz de elementos moduladores pode ser reduzida pela desabilitação de um ou de ambos dentre um módulo de elevação de tensão de linha e coluna, que são configurados para amplificar uma fonte de potência de entrada a um nível que seja apropriado para acionar os elementos moduladores. Se a tensão de coluna for removida durante a porção mencionada por último de um tempo linear, por exemplo, a tensão de linha é ajustada em um nível que é suficiente para manter uma diferença de tensão entre a tensão de linha e a tensão de coluna flutuante compreendida em uma faixa de tensão durante o restante do tempo linear.
