Abstract

PROCESSO DE LIXIVIAçãO COMBINADA, compreende um processo de dissolução dos constituintes solúveis através da execução combinada de duas ou mais etapas de lixiviação em série, sendo que a primeira etapa constitui na lixiviação atmosférica (AL) e a segunda etapa consiste na lixiviação sob pressão (HPAL), sendo processo combinado iniciado quando a fração intermediária (<SYM><0,50>0,075mm) (1) é submetida a uma lixiviação atmosférica (AL), oferecendo um efluente (3) com alta concentração de ferro e alumínio dissolvidos e alta acidez residual, sendo que o dito efluente (3) é alimentado na etapa seguinte de lixiviação sulfúrica sob pressão (HPAL) da fração fina (<SYM><0,075mm) (4) visando o aproveitamento da acidez livre e regeneração de ácido sulfúrico pela precipitação de ferro e alumínio numa reação de hidrólise.
