Abstract

CONECTOR óPTICO PARA TERMINAR UMA FIBRA óPTICA Um conector óptico para terminar uma fibra óptica compreende um alojamento configurado para encaixar-se com um receptáculo de LC. O alojamento compreende um material polimérico que não se deforma quando exposto a temperaturas de pelo menos 210<198>C. O conector óptico ainda inclui uma montagem de virola. A montagem de virola inclui uma porção em virola e uma porção em tambor. A montagem de virola é pré-carregada com um material adesivo termoplástico.O material termoplástico pode ser um adesivo termorreversível à base de poliamida. O material termoplástico pode ser um adesivo termorreversível em temperaturas ultra-elevadas. Estes conectores ópticos podem ser terminados no campo em uma curta extensão se tempo.
