Abstract

MéTODO DE SELEçãO DE SILìCIO COM DESEMPENHO APERFEIçOADO. Metalóide de subia com melhor desempenho no processo direto para fabricação de organo-halosilanos é selecionado por (A) medição da temperatura de cada lote de metalóide de silício tanto durante o refino como durante a fundição do metalóide de silício; (B) medição dos níveis de impurezas elementares em cada lote de metalóide de silício depois do refino do metalóide de silício; (C) previsão das propriedades da fase de escória produzida durante refino do metalóide de silício com base nos cálculos de equilíbrio usando os níveis de impurezas elementares e as temperaturas medidas de cada lote de metalóide de silício e (D) seleção de um metalóide de silício de qualidade química para uso no processo direto para fabricar organo-halosilanos com base nas propriedades previstas da escória; de modo que a densidade da escória, a viscosidade e o ponto de fusão da escória estejam dentro de faixas aceitáveis e predeterminadas para cada lote individual.
