Abstract
PROCESSAMENTO ESPACIAL COM MATRIZES DE DIRECIONAMENTO PARA DIRECIONAR TRANSMISSÃO PSEUDO-ALEATÓRIA EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAÇÃO MULTI-ANTENA. São descritas técnicas para gerar e utilizar matrizes de direcionamento para direcionamento de transmissão pseudo-aleatória (PRTS). Para a PRTS, uma entidade transmissora executa processamento espacial com matrizes de direcionamento de modo que uma transmissão de dados observe um conjunto de canais "efetivos" formado pelo canal real utilizado na transmissão de dados e pelas matrizes de direcionamento utilizadas na PRTS. As matrizes de direcionamento podem ser geradas selecionando-se uma matriz base, que pode ser uma matriz de Walsh ou uma matriz de Fourier. Diferentes combinações de escalares são então selecionadas, com cada combinação incluindo pelo menos um escalar para pelo menos uma fileira da matriz base. Cada escalar por ser um valor real ou complexo (como, por exemplo, +1, -1, +j ou -j, onde j = (Gama) 1). Diferentes matrizes de direcionamento são geradas multiplicando-se a matriz base por cada uma das diferentes combinações de escalares. As matrizes de direcionamento são permutações diferentes da matriz base.
