Abstract

DERIVADOS INDENO E PROCESSOS PARA A PREPARAçãO DOS MESMOS Os derivados indenos inventados de fórmula (1) são capazes de seletivamente modular as atividades dos "peroxisome proliferator activated receptors"(PPARs) , não causando efeitos adversos, e então, eles são úteis para o tratamento e prevenção de doenças moduladas por PPARs, isto é, síndromes metabólicas tais como diabetes, obesidade, arterioesclerose, hiperlipidemia, hiperinsulinemismo e hipertensão, doenças inflamatórias tais como osteoporose, cirrose hepática e asma, e câncer.
