Abstract

Dispositivo interativo para alimentação de animais e método de liberação de uma quantidade controlada de alimento, onde o dispositivo (10) inclui um atuador (12) que é acionável por um animal, um recipiente (18), uma calha de transporte (20), um motor (14), um mecanismo (16) de liberação acionado pelo motor (14) para controlar a passagem de alimento desde o recipiente de alimento (18) para a calha de transporte (20), e um dispositivo de controle para operar o motor (14) de modo subseqüente ao atuador (12); o mecanismo (16) de liberação de alimento inclui, preferentemente, um prato (42) superior e um prato (46) inferior, tendo aberturas superior e inferior centradas com o eixo (48) da calha, e um disco (50) tendo uma abertura (56) e sendo montado de modo a girar entre os pratos; a abertura (56) do disco controla a passagem de alimento do recipiente (18) para a calha de transporte (20) pelo giro do disco (50); o método inclui as etapas de recebimento de uma solicitação de um animal, de provimento de um valor de um parâmetro referente ao animal, de restabelecimento de um perfil baseado no dito valor, e de geração de um comando para o mecanismo de liberação usando o perfil.
