Abstract

FREIO A DISCO, E, PASTILHA DE FREIO PARA USO EM UM FREIO A DISCO. A invenção diz respeito a um freio a disco tendo um apoio do freio (10) que é fixável a uma estrutura do veículo e fornecido com pinos (16a, 16b, 18a, 18b) para guiar pelo menos uma pastilha de freio (32a, 32b) axialmente com respeito a um disco de freio (38), em que a pastilha de freio (32a, 32b) inclui recessos em forma de U (40, 40<39>) para os pinos (16a, 16b, 18a, 18b) em que os pinos (16a, 16b, 18a, l8b) encaixam, e em que durante a frenagem forças de tração e/ou forças compressivas são exercidas nas superfícies internas (44, 46) dos recessos. A invenção é caracterizada em que uma superfície interna (44, 46) de pelo menos um dos recessos em forma de U (40, 40<39>), superfície (44, 46) esta que agride um pino respectivo (16a, 16b, 18a, 18b) durante um acionamento do freio, é angular com respeito a um plano central (X~ B~) da pastilha de freio tal que uma força (B, B<39>, R, R<39>) que surge entre a dita superfície (44, 46) e o pino respectivo (16a, 16b, 18a, 18b) durante a frenagem comprime a pastilha de freio (32a, 32b) em uma posição estável com respeito aos pinos (16a,16b,18a,18b). A invenção também diz respeito a uma pastilha de freio (32a, 32b) para o uso em um tal freio a disco.
