Abstract

IMOBILIZAçãO IRREVERSìVEL DE ENZIMAS EM REVESTIMENTOS DE POLIURETANO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para imobilizar irreversivelmente uma enzima em um poliuretano e em um poliuretano contendo enzima tendo um grau de imobilização da enzima de aproximadamente 100%. A síntese de poliuretanos em dispersão aquosa na presença de enzima permitiu a ligação irreversível da enzima à matriz polimérica. A distribuição de enzima imobilizada, assim como a retenção de atividade são homogêneas dentro do poliuretano. A diminuição da hidrofobicidade ECC, por meio do uso de um pré-polímero de poliisocianato hidrofóbico durante polimerização, aumento significantemente a atividade intrínseca de ECC.
