Abstract
MéTODO PARA A DETECçãO DE DOENçA RELACIONADA A PRìON. A presente invenção refere-se a métodos para detecção de doença associado com estruturação de proteína de príon, como uma indicação de encefalopatias espongiformes transmissíveis (TSEs), incluindo detecção pré-clínica de animais e homens vivos infectados, e métodos de detecção post mortem. Em um aspecto da invenção, a amostra de tecido ou fluido corpóreo de um paciente em teste é posta em contato com um anticorpo, que se relaciona apenas à doença relacionada com estruturação da proteína de príon, sob condições não desnaturantes.
