Abstract

EMBARCAçãO MARìTIMA, E, PROCESSO PARA COBRIR UMA ABERTURA SUBMARINA EM UM CASCO DE EMBARCAçãO MARìTIMA Sistemas e processos para fechar aberturas (26) no casco de embarcação marítimas (1) são providos. Os sistemas e processos facilitam reparos e manutenção de embarcações marítimas por meio de fechamento de aberturas (26) no casco de embarcações marítimas para permitir acesso seco a compartimentos em comunicação com as aberturas. Os processos e sistemas incorporam uma cobertura (2) construída de um material leve, tal como fibra de vidro, um material viscoelástico, tal como polietileno ou poliuretano, e misturas dos mesmos. A cobertura é guiada no local para efetuar o fechamento da abertura por meio de um conjunto de pista (3) que recebe pelo menos duas das bordas periféricas (12) da cobertura (2) e direciona a cobertura (2) para a adequada posição para fechar a abertura de casco (26).
