Abstract
MéTODO QUALITATIVO OU QUANTITATIVO DE MEIOS DE TESTE PARA IDENTIFICAçãO E DIFERENCIAçãO DE MATERIAIS BIOLóGICOS EM UMA AMOSTRA DE TESTE. Um meio de teste e um método para detectar, quantificar, identificar e diferenciar até quatro (4) materiais biológicos separados em uma amostra em teste. Um meio de teste é divulgado que permite quantificar e diferenciar sob luz ambiente agregados de entidades biológicas que produzem enzimas especificas, que devem incluir coliformes gerais, E. coli, Aeromonas, e Salmonella, em um único meio de teste. Uma nova classe de substratos não-cromogênicos é divulgada que produzem um precipitada substancialmente preto, não-difusível. Esse precipitado não é objeto de interferência de outros substratos cromogênicos presentes em um meio deteste. Em uma modalidade, os substratos são selecionados tal que colónias de E. coli presentes no meio de teste se mostram como substancialmente pretas, colónias de coliformes gerais se mostram no meio de teste como uma cor azul-violeta, colónias de Aeromonas presentes no meio de teste se mostram como uma cor geralmente vermelho-rosa, e colónias de Salmoneila se mostram como geralmente uma cor teal-verde. Outros microorganismos e possibilidades de cor para detecção e quantificação desses também são descritos. Um inibidor e um método para fazer um meio de teste incorporando o inibidor são descritos.
