Abstract

TERAPIA DE DROGAS EM COMBINAçãO PARA REDUZIR A FORMAçãO DE TECIDO DE CICATRIZAçãO A presente invenção descreve diversos dispositivos e métodos, onde uma droga antiproliferativa citostática, sozinha ou em combinação com outras drogas, é colocada entre os tecidos internos do corpo para impedir a formação de tecido de cicatrização e/ou adesões durante a cicatrização de um local com ferida ou cirúrgico. Os dispositivos específicos para obter esta administração incluem, porém não estão limitados a, um implante permanente ou um material biodegradável tendo uma droga antiproliterativa unida, tal como o sirolimus. Estas drogas antiproliferativas podem ser combinadas com outras drogas, incluindo, porém não limitadas às, antiplaquetas, antitrombóticos ou anticoagulantes. A presente invenção também contempla os métodos para reduzir a formação de tecido de cicatrização e/ou adesões ou adesão em um local de anastomose. Em particular, uma droga antiproliferativa citostática é administrada às anastomoses por uma derivação arteriovenosa em paciente tendo doença renal em estágio terminal.
