Abstract
COMPOSTOS DE OXAZOLIDINONA E COMPOSIçõES E MéTODOS RELACIONADOS A ESTES A presente invenção refere-se a novas oxazolidinonas da fórmula (I) onde R~ 1~, R~ 2~, R~ 3~ e R~ 4~ são independentemente selecionados de hidrogênio, F e CI; A é selecionado de certos heterociclos opcionalmente substituídos; X é selecionado de O, S, NRs e CR~ 8~Rg; Y é selecionado de O, S, SO, SO~ 2~, NO, NR~ 11~ e CR~ 11~R~ 12~; e n é selecionado de 0 e 1. A invenção também fornece diferentes processos para a preparação de tais compostos. Compostos de oxazolidinona de fórmula (I) são ativos contra patógenos humanos e veterinários Gram-positivos e alguns Gram-negativos com uma fraca atividade inibidora de monoamina oxidase (MAO). Eles são úteis para o tratamento de infecções bacterianas.
