Abstract

MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA UTILIZAR TéCNICAS DE CONVERSãO ASCENDENTE DE TAXA DE QUADROS EM CODIFICAçãO DE VìDEO ESCALONáVEL. Um método para codificar uma corrente de vídeo inclui particionar a corrente de vídeo em uma camada principal, possuindo uma pluralidade de quadros de camada principal, e uma camada interpolada, possuindo uma pluralidade de quadros de camada interpolada; interpolar um quadro de conversão ascendente de taxa de quadros (FRUC); e codificar a pluralidade de quadros de camada principal na camada interpolada com a assistência do quadro FRUC principal. é também descrito um codificador de vídeo que implementa o método.
