Abstract

SISTEMA PAPA EXTRAIR UM MODELO DE ELEVAçãO DIGITAL DE TERRA DESCOBERTA A PARTIR DE UMA PLURALIDADE DE PONTOS TOPOGRáFICOS BRUTOS. Um método (300) para extrair um modelo de elevação digital a partir de uma pluralidade de pontos topográficos brutos que representam uma pluralidade de quadros que representam uma pluralidade de perspectivas de um objeto multidimensional que compreende uma superfície e obstruções acima da superfície, compreende etapas ou ações de: encontrar a superfície (304) pela filtragem de pontos de dados produzidos pelas obstruções acima da superfície para proporcionar uma pluralidade de dados de superfície que representam a superfície; e filtrar os pontos de dados de superfície (306) com um filtro competitivo para proporcionar uma concha de superfície multidimensional de pontos de dados de modelo de elevação digital. O método descrito retro também pode ser realizado por um sistema de processamento de informação especializado ou programável (200) ou como um conjunto de instruções em um meio capaz de ser lido por computador, tal como CD ROM ou DVD, ou assemelhado.
