Abstract
SISTEMA PARA REGISTRAR PONTOS TOPOGRáFICOS DE MODELO DE ELEVAçãO DIGITAL MULTIDIMENSIONAL Um método para registrar pontos de dados topográficos multidimensionais que representam um objeto multidimensional, compreende: a) receber uma pluralidade de pontos que representam uma pluralidade de quadros de sobreposição de uma superfície do objeto multidimensional ; b) encontrar para cada ponto em um primeiro quadro um ponto mais próximo correspondente em cada um de uma pluralidade de quadros subseqüentes; c)determinar uma rotação e transformação de translação para cada um da pluralidade de quadros de forma que os pontos mais próximos correspondentes são alinhados; c) determinar um custo para executar cada rotação e transformação de translação; e e) repetir as etapas b) a d) para quadros adicionais para proporcionar uma transformação ótima.
