Abstract

PASTILHAS INTERCAMBIáVEIS DE CORTE COM REVESTIMENTO DE MúLTIPLAS CAMADAS. A presente invenção refere-se a pastilhas intercambiáveis de corte fabricadas de metal duro ou Cermet com um revestimento superficial de múltiplas camadas para a usinagem com remoção de material de objetos essencialmente de metal ou liga de metal, em particular, aqueles feitos de um material de múltiplos componentes como ligas de ferro fundido e similares. Para aumentar a vida útil das ferramentas em uma usinagem aperfeiçoada das superfícies está previsto um revestimento de múltiplas camadas de modo que a camada externa ou camada de cobertura seja uma camada formada de óxido, especialmente de <244>-AI~ 2~O~ 3~, sendo que a camada sob a camada de cobertura e conectada à mesma consiste em TiN.
