Abstract
MéTODO DE ESTUDAR UMA SUPERFìCIE UTILIZANDO UM INTERFERÈMETRO, E, INTERFERÈMETRO Método de estudar uma superfície utilizando um interferómetro, em que há movimento relativo entre a superfície e o interferómetro, o movimento tendo uma velocidade total V~ tot~ que inclui um componente transversal ou atravessante V~ t~e um componente longitudinal V~ 1~. O método compreende: direcionar um feixe de objeto de luz coerente para uma posição de medição na superfície, por meio do que há movimento relativo entre a superfície e a posição de medição; dispor um sistema de detectores no interferómetro, em uma linha estendendo-se genericamente na direção transversal, os detectores sendo dispostos para detectar raios de luz com diferentes direções angulares, representando diferentes direções de sensibilidade; produzir um feixe de referência de luz coerente, que seja coerente com o feixe de objeto; combinar o feixe de referência com o feixe de objeto refletido da superfície, para produzir uma interferência cruzada no padrão de salpicos, provendo informação acerca do movimento relativo da superfície e do interferómetro; detectar o padrão de salpicos e o padrão de interferência cruzada com os detectores; determinar que detector do sistema tem sensibilidade zero ou mínima para a velocidade total V~ tot~ do movimento, desse modo identificando o detector com uma linha de direção de sensibilidade, que é perpendicular a V~ tot~;monitorar a mudança temporal em que os detectores têm sensibilidade zero ou mínima, desse modo verificando a mudança de direção de V~ tot~ durante o tempo, realizada pelas mudanças de V~ 1~ e determinar as mudanças temporais de V~ 1~.
