Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE UMA SUSPENSãO DE NANOPARTìCULAS, MODIFICADAS NA SUPERFìCIE. A invenção refere-se a um método para a produção de nanopartículas modificadas na superfície, cristalinas e/ou consolidadas num dispersante, o dito método compreendendo as seguintes etapas: (a) tratar termicamente uma suspensão de nanopartículas não modificadas na superfície, amorfas ou semicristalinas num dispersante para cristalizar e/ou consolidar as partículas; e (b) ativar a suspensão das nanopartículas não modificadas na superfície, cristalizadas e/ou adensadas no dispersante da etapa (a) ou em outro dispersante na presença de um modificador por tensão mecânica, a fim de modificar a superfície das partículas pelo modificador de modo a obter uma suspensão de nanopartículas consolidadas na superfície, cristalinas e/ou adensadas. O dispersante pode ser removido do colóide obtido para dar o pó correspondente. O dito método provê partículas muito dispersas com um diâmetro médio de partícula menor que 20 nm que podem ser providas com uma química de superfície costumeira de uma maneira simples para a aplicação relevante.
