Abstract

"REMOçãO DE MAGNéSIO DE PóS METáLICOS COM TEOR DE MAGNéSIO REDUZIDO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de produção de um pó de metal refretário que inclui proporcionar um pó de metal contendo tantalato de magnésio ou niobato de magnésio; e aquecer o pó em uma atmosfera inerte na presença de magnésio, cálcio e/ou alumínio até uma temperatura suficiente para remover tantalato de magnésio ou niobato de magnésio do pó e/ou aquecer o pó sob vácuo até uma temperatura suficiente para remover tantalato de magnésio ou niobato de magnésio do pó, as etapas de aquecimento sendo efetuadas em qualquer ordem. o pó de metal pode ser conformado em péletes sob uma temperatura de sinterização apropriada, os quais podem ser conformados em capacitores eletrolíticos.
