Abstract
PROCESSOS PARA A FABRICAçãO DE UMA FIBRA COMPóSITA. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo continuo para a fabricação de fibras compósitas a partir de polimeros de aramida. O processo inclui: a combinação contínua de uma solução polimérica anisotrópica de um polímero de aramida e uma solução isotrópica de um segundo polímero para formar uma solução polimérica combinada; a passagem da solução polimérica combinada através de pelo menos um misturador estático para formar um aditivo de fiação; e a extrusão do aditivo de fiação através da fieira para formar uma fibra compósita. O processo produz fibras que são úteis em uma variedade de aplicações; incluindo o reforço de materiais elastoméricos.
